We’re all about celebrating love in interesting places, unique relationships documented in creative ways, traveling and finding adventure and so much more. When our local Milwaukee pal Danielle at Rosewood Weddings sent over this darling boho wedding on Block Island, Rhode Island, we were thrilled to find that it beautifully captures all of those aspects! Together with an amazing team of vendors, these lovebirds, Ginger and Charlie, pulled together a beautiful boho-inspired wedding with plenty of coastal details, tropical florals, pineapples and a vintage VW van converted into a seriously rad photo booth.
If you’re a bride-to-be with a soft spot for anything boho, you are going to LOVE these elements. Now take a look at these gorgeous photos by Julia Wade!
This rustic sign with custom calligraphy by Rosewood Weddings in Milwaukee has a special story. Of course, Ginger kept her maiden name after her marriage to Charlie because, in fact, the bride and groom had the same surname! You can bet their guests had a chuckle or two over this cleverly designed sign.
With custom wedding invitations, the creative opportunities are literally endless. No other detail can so specifically capture the uniqueness of a couple’s wedding, which is why we’re so head over heels for this unique watercolor invitation suite by Minted. You’ve probably seen this invitation add-on before but frankly, no one gets tired of adorable hand-drawn maps!
We certainly love a boho wedding with juicy, tropical elements such as pineapples. What a cute, simple and affordable way to add visual detail throughout the venue!
We love unique photo booths for two important reasons: memorable entertainment for wedding guests and, of course, MORE PHOTOS! For most of you engaged couples, your wedding day will be the BIGGEST event you will ever host for family and friends. Make it count by ramping up the FUN factor and ensuring those fleeting memories are captured! For these reasons, we’re so digging this vintage VW van converted into a photo booth. It’s basically a must for you vintage-loving Rhode Island couples!
You might consider these chairs a wedding-scene trend, but frankly, we think they’re here to stay—and we couldn’t be happier about it! If you’re planning a boho wedding, these vintage rattan chairs are simply a must. Our advice is to stick with a few iconic pieces and incorporate highly unique details elsewhere. As we’ve already mentioned, we love a boho wedding with tropical influence like this bold, bright, citrus color palette. We love this color palette so much in fact, we’re predicting a full-on trend of citrus and yellow color palettes for 2019 weddings. (You heard it from us first!)
We ADORE a touch of glam to this tropical boho wedding with gold pineapples. We’re also loving how this styling team ditched the traditional ribbon on the cocktail tables and opted for a more theme-appropriate tropical garland.
Did we mention how much we love to be entertained at weddings? We think Ginger and Charlie nailed the entertainment factor with the VW photo booth and by incorporating an assortment of totally photogenic lawn games.
